As a member of the Alabama Development team, Chris is involved in land use and planning, and oversees and executes the marketing and sale of Daniel’s commercial land holdings. Having joined Daniel in October of 2007, Chris began his real estate career with a degree in Real Estate Finance from the University of Alabama in 1990. After a nine year career as a commercial lender in the banking industry, Chris entered full time real estate activities by working as a real estate manager for a national retailer in the site selection and lease negotiations throughout a nine state territory. Chris later took a position as the Vice President of Commercial Property for a privately held management and brokerage firm where Chris facilitated management activities for over 4 million square feet of commercial property and also handled tenant representation and brokerage activities. Chris has held a real estate brokerage license since the late 1990’s and a law degree from the Birmingham School of Law.

Chris has extensive experience in finance, retail and office brokerage, lease negotiations, property management and transaction management. Chris is a member of the Alabama Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Birmingham CCIM chapter.
